Accessibility Statement
De Vision Hair Salon regards accessibility as a core value, not merely a legal obligation, and is committed to making its services accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This statement pertains to the salon's website and is updated from time to time in accordance with improvements made to it.
1. Legal Framework
The website has been made accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758–1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Accommodations for Services), 5773–2013.
2. Accessibility Standard Implemented
The website was built with the aim of meeting the requirements of Israeli Standard SI 5568 — "Guidelines for Web Content Accessibility" — which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines of the W3C, at conformance level AA.
For the sake of transparency: the website has not yet undergone an external accessibility audit by a certified accessibility consultant, and therefore some elements may not fully comply with the standard's requirements. Details of known limitations appear in Section 5.
3. Existing Accessibility Accommodations on the Website
Among the accommodations implemented on the website:
Full keyboard navigation — all links, buttons, and form fields can be reached using the Tab key, with a clear and prominent focus indicator.
"Skip to main content" link — appears at the top of the page during keyboard navigation and allows users to skip directly to the content.
Proper semantic structure — an organized heading hierarchy and semantic HTML tags for convenient navigation with screen readers.
Language and directionality settings — the website is marked as Hebrew with right-to-left (RTL) direction, so screen readers pronounce it with the correct pronunciation and reading order. On English pages, the language and directionality attributes are updated accordingly.
Alternative text for images — content images and galleries include textual descriptions; decorative elements are hidden from screen readers to avoid clutter.
Homepage background video — completely muted, with no audio track, does not open in a manner that interferes with reading, and is marked as decorative content that screen readers skip.
Respecting the "reduce motion" preference — for users who have set a reduced-motion preference in their operating system, the website disables animations and the background video and displays a static image instead. This is an important accommodation for users sensitive to motion.
Accessible forms — every field has an associated label, required fields are marked, and error messages are linked to the relevant field and announced to screen readers.
Accessible pop-up windows — dialog windows are properly marked, have an announced title, and include a keyboard-accessible close button.
Responsive and readable design — responsive display at all screen sizes, clear fonts, and text that remains readable even when the browser zoom is increased.
4. Browsers and Assistive Technologies
The website was built to support the latest versions of popular browsers — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — as well as assistive technologies such as screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard navigation, and screen magnification. For an optimal experience, we recommend using an up-to-date version of your browser and assistive software.
5. Known Limitations and Third-Party Content
Despite our efforts, some elements on the website may not yet be fully accessible:
The website has not yet undergone a comprehensive external accessibility audit, and therefore there may be deficiencies that have not yet been identified — including color contrast issues in certain areas of the dark design.
Image galleries are based on a carousel component, and using them with assistive technology may be less convenient than other parts of the website.
The appointment booking system is operated by the Calmark platform, the location map is displayed via Google Maps, and the background video is served from an external hosting service. This content is not under our control and we cannot guarantee its level of accessibility. Anyone experiencing difficulty using these features is welcome to contact us, and we will be happy to provide an alternative service as detailed in Section 7.
We continue to work on improving the website's accessibility, and any report of a deficiency helps us in this effort.
6. Accessibility Inquiries
Have you encountered an accessibility issue on the website, or do you have a request or suggestion for improvement? We'd love to hear from you. You can reach us through any of the following channels:

To help us handle your inquiry promptly, we would appreciate it if you could provide the page URL where you encountered the issue, a brief description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We will make every effort to address your inquiry as soon as possible and keep you updated.
7. Alternative Service
If using the website or the appointment booking system is not accessible to you for any reason, you can schedule an appointment and receive full assistance by phone or WhatsApp, without needing to use the website. We are happy to help.
